Hi,

I own a Nokia C5. Yesterday I had some trouble with my memory card. I had to format it without knowing that some of the applications I had downloaded were installed on it, and I didn't back up anything.

Of course these applications disappeared from my phone menu. The trouble is that when I go to each of these applications through "My stuff " in "Ovi Store", the "Download" button is dimmed out and I can't download them again, as if the phone "thinks" they don't need to be downloaded again because they are already on the phone.

Please tell me the way to "refresh" the phone so that I should be able to download these applications again.

P.S. Restarting the phone didn't do the job.

yes. Ur c drive shows ur phone having the apps installed as they are not uninstalled, instead deleted from memory card. U must go either hard reset (*#7370#), or download those apps installer files via opera mini.

Just recentley bought a alumina 710 on o2 and having trouble downloading any apps for it any help please

Opera mini is not compatible with Nokia store.

opera mobile or opera mini? the last time i checked Opera Mini was not compatible. If its now then its very good.

@ng85 you can also download nokia store apps via opera mini. First you should sign in. Then go to an app and add /download after the address.
e.g. For nokia browser
store.ovi.com/content/51924/

you can download by going to
store.ovi.com/content/51924/download

I do not prefer downloading apps from nokia store as 95% are ad supported. Downloading from the source/publisher is what I prefer. That's the reason I do not check Nokia Store frequently on Opera Mini. As far as the way of downloading an app is considered that I'm already familiar with. Thanks
