@wkl12mr
Have you looked over at Nokia Beta Labs and quote"Client is now delivered part of Nokia Push Notifications enabler and you can get it for example downloading CNN application from Nokia Store or downloading eBuddy XMS from BetaLabs"

Found this in Beta Labs with separate installers for Anna and Belle.

I can't test it out at the moment as my 808 is in Nokia Care Center for evaluation of the High ISO purple in photo problem.
I cannot see the point of downloading CNN app when it's already built into my phone. I don't do any messaging as well.

I had to download it from a third party site as betalabs refused to let me download Nokia Drop into my phone with 808 selected.
I used softpedia.com. I downloaded XMS Messenger Beta Trial but cannot find the Nokia Drop Installer that comes with the eBuddy.

I also noticed same thing. Nokia Drop was pre-installed after updating my 808 to belle FP2.
It was working well for long time then I noticed it was not connecting at all. I checked betlabs forum and tried all things suggested there but nothing worked. So I decided to uninstall and install it again. Uninstllation was ok but I couldn't find any way to install it "officially".
get.drop.nokia.com doesnt offer anything to download. Betalabs says that drop client will come along with cnn app from nokia store or ebuddy xms from betalabs. I tried both and none were able to get Nokia drop client.
This is really ridicuolus by Nokia. They just want to kill symbian fast so that people may be forced to buy winDOZE phone. But I don't think people are fool. It is not happening. People are buying Android instead.
Anyways, I am going to try sis files from some sites and see if that helps.
Some on betalabs have suggested reset but I am not going to do phone reset just for nokia drop.

Even more frustrating is the fact that Nokia's official Nokia Drop support pages are pointing to non existent pages! I also cannot find any 3rd party website which lists the Nokia Drop final version. They only list the beta version which will expire in 6 months.

Yes, I have checked the link and the Nokia Drop client for Symbian page was blank earlier. It is still blank when accessed via the 808. Nokia Drop for Symbian
