Whatsapp For N95

Hello, I'm from Mauritius. 
I have a Nokia N95 and i just installed whatsapp on my phone. However when i run the application, it tells me : 'Chek Clock - Please chek and correct your phone time and date.' 
And i can't run the application any further.. 
I changed the time and date accordingly but i can't change my timezone since my country is not in the list.  
Is it because of that ? 
what can i do to solve this problem ?

Welcome to the forum!

 

That can be the problem. If you're located in India, you can choose any country as long as the time zone is correct. The correct time zone is UTC +5:30. Once done, switch off/on the phone and then check if you're able to run the application. If it's still the same, try to uninstall/re-install the application and then check again.

OP is from Mauritius and has posted similar thread elsewhere in forum and have suggested to pick another region upon UTC +4 hours such as United Arab Emirates in this case.

Happy to have helped forum in a small way with a Support Ratio = 37.0
