Is there a way to get Whatsapp on C2-03??

Hi drfrozt,

Thank you for your first post and welcome to the Nokia discssion forums.

Currently Whatsapp inst supported for your device.
The Nokia C2-03 is a S40 device 6th edition and although Whatsapp is available S40 devices it isn't available for all devices. To check what S40 mobile phones it is available for please refer to the link below:

Is there a special reason for this, A friend of mine has a C2-02 and had whatsapp installed.

I have checked the j2me profile for both phone and they are the same.

Can you please tell me why?

You can check from Nokia Store if it is available for your phone.

Sometimes its also an operator issue.

You will have to contact the app developers in this regard. Earlier only one s40 mobile was supported. They have gradually increased the support.

i have nokia c2 03.but drfrost said that his frnd got it on the same device so i need to know the website from where he downloaded it.

Whatsapp in India has compatibility issues with some operators. If it isn't shown compatible, it will not work.

Hi, U can download unsigned version of whatsapp for ur mobile from mobile9.com.
1. Select nokia x2-01
2. Choose apps.
3. Search whatsapp on the pages.
4. Download it.
Note:- if it shows 'certificate not on phone or sim' then cancel it and download uc browser from wap.ucweb.com, install uc browser. Then change the date of ur device to 27-04-2010 GMT +5:30 (if u r in india) if u change the date then only uc browser will works nd opera, i browser, nokia browser will not works.
5. Now download whatsapp from mobile9.com with uc browser.
6.install it. Nd enjoy.
