if i want to install the app from store the phone states 'this app is nog for this phone'

it shows version 2.8.2.0 for whatsapp. I've read somewhere version 2.8.8.0 is for the lumia 820.

anyone has a solution to get whatsapp on my phone

Microsoft store should present the correct version for your phone when available. WhatsApp is not a Nokia app and as such you might be better of asking at their support site.

Apparently WhatsApp has been pulled from the Store for Windows Phone 8 devices, and there is an update promised by WhatsApp themselves to be in the pipeline and released soon.

I just tried and the new version is in the market. Nice app, cool design. I like the design better as the android.
