I have pictures taken using various devices over the years stored on my PC and want them all to show up in Ovi.

One such directory which I cannot make appear is at:

C:\Users\Peter\Documents\My Multimedia\My Pictures\2000-04

I renamed the directory especially to conform to the Ovi naming convention to eliminate that as being the problem.

One of the images inside the folder is named:

04022000001.jpg

which also conforms with the Ovi naming convention, but when I refresh the view in Ovi, it is still not shown.

The path for photos in Options > Photos is set to:

C:\Users\Peter\Documents\My Multimedia\My Pictures

and I even added an extra watch folder below with the full path of one of the folders which it won't display:

C:\Users\Peter\Documents\My Multimedia\My Pictures\2000-04

but it still doesn't display the contents.

The odd thing is that a picture with the following path is displayed perfectly!:

C:\Users\Peter\Documents\My Multimedia\My Pictures\Pictures but not personal photos\Evidence-Proof\pope.jpg

This is annoying, as I'm hoping to use Ovi to host the pictures that I want to share, but I don't want to have one solution for current pictures and another for legacy pictures. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong please?

In OVI Suite..Under Photos.. goto ADD File to Library / Folder to Library(as applicable) -->select the corresponding File / Folder on the PC... and then check..
