To add to what Farby has written, there have been the usual bugfixes, stability and performance improvements, as well as Nokia Maps 3.06 + support for IDN's.

Is the Nokia Maps v3.06 embedded within the Update ?

It is a 7MB OTA update, so quite possibly it might be. Otherwise any old user can just update to 3.06 through the Nokia Store, but then they wouldn't document that change if the phone wasn't updated from a previous version of Nokia Maps to 3.06 would they.

I got my update thru' Nokia Suite (133 MB) but do not think the Maps v3.06 is embedded..How to confirm ?

Well wouldn't be able to confirm unless you specifically knew you hadn't installed Maps 3.06 or a lower-numbered version of 3.06 and you checked the version numbers of Maps before and after the update.

Thats bad.. The v3.06 has been released a long time back.. and there will be hardly any user who has not yet updated from v 3.04

Not necessarily everyone has updated to 3.06. But it's great that they're still updating the Nokia 5800 nearly three years after it's release.
