Seems to be available only for the following product codes:

059P4K1: ndt_ca_us_black
059P4K2: ndt_ca_us_red
059P4K3: ndt_ca_us_white

I have a  White 808 NAM Product Code 059P728

Looks like it is available for Canada only, and not North America .

ps. They never sold the 808 in canada. I had to buy mine from the usa.

ps. I do live in Canada. I don't know if that affects things. However since this phone is unlocked and not tied to any carriers I would think the updates would not have any association where I use it but where it was meant to be sold. Which the only way to get a 808 in North America was Amazon.com from what I understood.

What is there to be confused about?

Nokia releases updates on their servers. Phones see updates and get them.

There is nothing for nokia care to do. Nokia just has to push the updates to their servers. There are no Carriers to deal with. All 808's are unlocked.
