WEAK GSM NETWORK STABILITY,


GSM GPRS SPEED IS TOO LOW,

ON NET BROWSING KEYPAD IS TOO BAD ( coz, written text can't be edit by moving curser as fp1,

FRONT CAMERA is useless in all purposes.

Battery more consumming compare to fp1,

->In my nokia 808 after fp2 update my wifi is not responding properly,does not connect or no stable connection it disconnects and gives a error msg limited connection after a restart for some time it is working

->maps are not working as properly as it was before can't find location/routes in offline mode which was working best in fp1

->nowadays hangs a lot while browsing or playing games

->lockscreen problem doesn't react fast as it was earlier very slow and wrost response in opening the screen via touch

->video streaming no working properly

->video playback problem and need floder player option or cont playing of videos or atleast to play the selected files

There was a problem in my Nokia store, it was not opened properly & shows message that, there was a problem opening this page. It could be a connection or a slow network. Retry.
& while login it shows unable to complete the operation due to connection error. pls try again.
but I am using wifi with better speed connection. so, why this should happen?

after this happen I have Uninstalled Nokia store, store client & all items related to store. then, I am trying to install from http://lr.ovi.mobi/store/new-symbian-3 this link, it shows installation complete but I am unable to find it from menu items.

Also from default web browser I am unable to download any store items & store does not launch by tapping on Launch.
Pls, help me. what should I do?

Hi Jignesh,

You should try to reset your phone by typing code *#7370# on your phone and after that it will ask for security code of your device.I want to clarify that with this reset all of your contacts,messages and notes will be deleted,so you better create a back-up on memory card by going through files>back up and restore>options>back up now.
Also all of files on mass memory will be deleted and all apps will be uninstalled.So you beeter transfer all of your important media (images,videos etc) from mass memory to somewhere else.However mmc media will be safe.

After typing *#7370# your phone will reboot itself with all phone and mass memory cleared and getting your phone back to the same situation when you had first switched it on.
I hope Nokia Store will be available for you after this reset.
Phone can take sometime to reboot so please keep patience while your phone will be rebooting.

html5 browser is worse in belle fp2 . Almost everytime Freeze itself when loading pages.

And alas!! Facebook web page freez after log in, doesn't work anymore.

This belle fp2 is completely a piece of **bleep**.It has ruined completely my beautiful Nokia 701 previously running on fp1.The display of my 701 remains on even after it is locked and to overcome this problem I have to reboot my device.Today display of my device started showing same problem again.I rebooted my device and even after reboot the display was still on after locking device.So having no other option,I had to reboot it again.After this reboot the issue of display remaining on was fixed and guess what,when I open messaging it was not displaying names of contacts and to fix this another annoying issue I again reboot my 701,hoping that there will be no other issue and 'luckily' there was no another issue.After that I had to give 8-9 seconds to my camera to start for first time so that I can quickly use it at time of need and wait for gallery to load all images which takes 10-11 seconds after each reboot. :@
I want to ask Nokia that what kind of smartphone experience are you people giving to your users using your so called best symbian devices.If this is best,then what should we deserve from others.My device keeps rebooting itself of its own also.I had to lose many of my messages and notes on which I was working when this **bleep**ing pack 2 decide to reboot itself and they were not available anywhere in drafts or notes after reboot.
My device is rebooting itself nearly 4 times a day on average after **bleep**ing pack 2 update.It is really disgusting.
Please provide a good and reliable update for all devices running on fp2 fixing all issues mentioned in this thread before we smash them because of its annoying bugs and reboots.

but it does not shows store icon on main menu or install properly.
then, I have reinstalled OS via PC Suit. still I face same prob..

Have you tried to go on website www.ovistore.com again on nokia web browser after resetting your phone.As you had mentioned earlier that even launch button was not working for Nokia Store.Is it working now ??

i have buy the 808 but the wifi shows always LIMITED CONNECTIVITY
after update to 113.010.1507 the error remains and this is a very big problem !!!! nokia hellllllllllllllllllppppppppppppppp

@pishva try wlan utility s/w ..nokia recently released it for belle fp1 and fp2 devices.it fixes the limited connectivity issues

i have upadated my mobile to FP2, camera is capturing pictures on 6 MP and am unable find settings to change it to 8 MP..... any one could please suugest how to change it to 8 MP.......

I gave €330 for my 701 last year and now i have a phone that cannot creat albums on the gallery.. and it can't select multiple items on the same gallery to send it with bluetooth, for exemple. Can i ask why? I really don't know what's on the developers mind when they do this kind of "updates"... Do Nokia devolopers really think this are good changes and my phone is better now? another thing, the keyboard sometimes covers the text when i'm typing an SMS. And why the camera is so slow now when booting for the first time?

I'm not getting a Lumia because of this.. if that's what Nokia want's when doing this Belle "updates". I always had Nokia phones,.. in fact i never had a single phone from another brand, but now i think this will be my last phone from Nokia. Don't get me wrong, i really like my 701 but this issues are ridiculous for a €300 phone!

I finally upgraded to FP2 from FP1 on my Nokia 700.

Before I upgraded, I did a factory reset, cleared data and removed my memory card. No problems prior to upgrade, besides the phone seemingly not wanting to power up after the factory reset. It finally did after removing the battery, etc. After it booted, I did another reset and this time it rebooted pretty much straight away. *phew*.

The upgrade to FP2 via Nokia Suite went fine.

What I like:

• The camera app is fast to load and use (on my Nokia 700). The software has improved, but I haven't had a chance to test the pic/video quality, etc, though.
• The Nokia Web Browser seems to have improved. Nice.
• Swipe to unlock
• Car Mode - I previously downloaded and used this when using FP1.
• DLNA Play To - I previously downloaded and used this when using FP1.
• Nothing seems to have been broken for me. I haven't ever had WiFi problems with this phone, no matter the software version.

I'm sure I will find other things to like.

What I don't like:

• The light grey Nokia Evolve theme. I wish I could revert it back including the light-grey menu bar. Nokia, please make the FP1's darker Evolve theme downloadable from the Ovi Store.
• The amount of  background apps running after starting up the phone. I use AppStop to fix that though. It would be great to have an option to disable these start-up items though.

Minor inconveniences:

• Nokia Maps Suite needs to be downloaded from Ovi Store. This is fine, however, Nokia Suite wanted me to run Maps on the phone prior to loading maps, etc, but it wasn't immediately obvious how to obtain the software. I forget if I had to do this when I bought the phone. Suggestion: possibly a temporary menu icon called "Download Nokia Maps" might be helpful.
• YouTube app is not on the phone or in the Ovi Store anymore. I couldn't get the version downloaded from Google to work with my network connections, WiFi or 3G. However, the Nokia Browser can play YouTube videos quite happily, so I can use that.

I hope that this info is useful to somebody.  Thanks Nokia for releasing FP2. I really love my Nokia Belle phone.

I have the same issue in my nok 603. Its a great device for its price. I suspect that the new software takes away things - I dont find my stopwatch which came with the clock icon, after a previous update. Or is it that nokia is threatened by apple / sam to remove something they have patent to ? I like Belle better than Ios or android for getting work done. Nokia pls dont take away stuff and force me to sell this phone.

Hi, my conncetion to bluetooth doesn't work anymore with the latest update, so now I can't use my Maps why??????

In the bluetooth list the device is listed but what is missing is the "connect to" voice.

Update to my post.

The new camera software has problems:

• The resulting camera picture quality is terrible.
  
  I'm not sure if it's what's captured by the camera, or the result of the new editor. I used the auto option in the editor to automatically correct some landscape photos. The uploaded photos look very soft and overly colourized - and so I quickly deleted them. Maybe if I can alter the default camera settings, I might find something usable.
  
  The new editor features are fine. It's just the picture quality that is terrible. As I said, I don't know yet if it's the editor or the camera now.
  
  
• The Facebook upload function now puts photos in a different folder. The photos don't get put into my Mobile Uploads folder anymore. This is annoying.
