i recently tried to update my nokia n8 to belle, everything was going fine, i installed ovi suite,backed up my phone, and when it came to the third stage which is installing onto ,my phone disonnected so i tried to restart the installation, but that woulnd work so i restarted my computer plugged everything back in and then my phone wouldnt switch on, ive tried the 8 second off button thing a dozen times but it wont switch back on, and patience is being tested, so i go on this site and tried to contact via email, and it Asks me for my seria number, HOW THE HELL CAN I TELL YOU THAT WHEN MY PHONE DOESNT SWITCH ON AND I CANT FIND THE BOX!!!! So anyways someones ear is going to get chewed of tomorrow, thats unless someone can help on here asap and i mean like NOW!!! Ive had nowt but trouble with this phone!!!!

Looks like a failed firmware update. You'll have to try the three finger reset to get your phone back up. You may want to take a look at this link before trying a hard reset.

*#06# gives u serial no. And also near the hdmi port there is a sticker installed it has the serial no u needed
