Hi,

I updated my phone OS to v40.0.005 (the latest available to me in Ireland) and now if I get a call while the phone is locked........I can't answer it.  The actual buttons don't answer the call (or stop/snooze a reminder) and neither do the touchscreen buttons.

Any suggestions....this is a bit of a huge problem!

The touch screen buttons are to be swiped in the direction they indicate. They are arrows.

So what was wrong with the old style of buttons to Stop or Silence an alarm or to take a call? It seems a completely pointless update to the software. It is just adding to the size of the phone's software for a daft gimmick. I can only presume that it was done so that it cannot be silenced or answered accidentally while in a pocket, but that cannot happen anyway when it is in 'locked' mode.

What I really, really want is smileys and emoticons on my phone, not fancy graphics for no purpose. If Nokia can add all that to the firmware, why oh why can they not add just a few smileys? I just want to send nice messages to my children ...
