After Belle update I can't use my wireless networks anymore: "Connection failed. Access denied"
I can't connect to the internet, neither through wi-fi or through mobile data
Any suggestions?

After Belle update the WiFi parameters are erased, so you have to set them up again.

I have the same problem too.
I have looked online.
it seems to be a problem for other N8 users as well (nokia australia etc)
I am in Europe.
No access in ANY wifi. (even with no password. I tried all combinations. I installed from scratch all access points. turned them off/on/ upside down and sideways ; tried everything)
Also no access to any 3g or any GPRS data from my Cell phone network provider.
I have also to note that , when I upgraded to Anna, my provider (WIND HELLAS) sent me the SMS to save for the settings for MMS and internet. with Belle, the provider sends the SMS but I never receive it.
N8 with no Internet is really a bad experience.
Please send some instructions fast

I have the same problem.
I upgraded to Belle, and am now unable to connect to anything - except my PC via cable...
I have tried to set up WAP, Internet connection, Wi-Fi and even Bluetooth will not communicate.
Lucky me, the telephone still rings...
Belle is a disaster for my phone.
Please help - anyone!

Same problem here after update to Belle but I don't have any Internet. 3G and wifi give access denied. I put the correct network key,in, I let the router transmit the correct settings, the phone says received and then access denied. If I enter the phones key in the router trough the settings page of the router itself, same problem.
When I send an sms to my provider to send the automated settings for the phone I don't receive any sms back. But when I look in the phones log I can see there are two messages from my provider, but not in the inbox!? Normal sms works well.
I noticed on Internet there are much more phones with this problem, after the update!
I hope this will be solved quickly because a phone without Internet is no smart phone!

Hi,
I have had also connectivity issues after the Belle update on my e7 with both Wireless and Mobile data.
Got Wireless working after a router reset.
For Mobile data I did this. Not sure if there are faster options.
I first stopped the Mobile data connection from the new Belle 'Curtain' interface.
Than I removed all Mobile data access point entries. Than I requested new automatic settings from my provider via text. They turned up as Uncategorized settings in the Connectivity settings, settings and than Network destinations . I moved the correct entry to destinaton "internet". At least I have a connection now,
Still 2 issues:
Connection changes from Wireless to Mobile connection or vice versa, seems to work less right as it did in Anna.
Opera used to work fine with the connectivity preference 'Allways ask'. That doesn't work anymore. It does connect to the access point you request but no data is send or received. Use 'system default' works better now.
Hope this helps for new Belle users with similair issues.

Make sure both "Mobile data" and "Wi-Fi" are enabled in pull-down menu, available when you drag the very top of the screen down....
If they are disabled, phone will make calls and receive messages, but won't be able to use packet data access points.

When I go to Delete and Restore it asks me for the security code. I input the security code and it reads "Code Error". How did you get around this problem? Having no internet is ridiculous. Please help!!!

First, Change your security code by going to settings >> Phone >> Phone Management >> Security Settings >> Phone and sim card .Here click on security code option and enter pin you want and re-enter when it asks you or it is by default 1234

Going to phone setting>phone & SIM card>security code DOES NOT reset the code. It still read "Code Error". Can someone from Nokia please chime in

Q: After the update to Nokia Belle, my phone asks me to enter new security code. I do this and get an error message stating “code error”. What should I do?
A: Please try again a few times. There are very rare cases in which the phone incorrectly asks for new a security code but does not accept the entered code. In that situation the problem vanishes by entering any code until the phone stops asking for it. After this, the code you had entered before the update works again normally.

Thanks for pointing to the FAQ reply,
However the issue here is the wifi and 3g no-connectivity.
I am stating it just to make sure that the problem still remains.
and of course the issue remains, by using the phone properly ( mobile data switch on, data switc on, network provider settings correct etc etc
So please please please, a fix soon

ya friends it works after that and even after you restart your cell...but after you stop the mobile data and wifi both from the drop down it stops again and no connectivity again even after turning both of them on or off from the drop down no use and the mobie needs to be restarted again..then again connectivity for some time and again the same issue....and you all know restarting again and again drains all the battery...
