Y day I've update mah E52 to 071.004.
Its jus 1 day since Im using It n' im feelin it increases a little Speed.
Atleast it'll take a little time lyk 1 month to 2 month to undastand it Properly.

I updated my phone to this version, and it works faster. When i was on holiday i had to do a soft reset, because it was giving me an system error when i connected to a wireless network. After that it looks ok, the only problem i se now is that if i use a picture for the background, it doesn't show properly. It is defective on the top and on the bottom of the screen. Anyone else noticed this?

I updated my phone to new firmware 071.400 but the camera image has gone fade not clear as it was before.  Menu is slow or hangs sometimes.... Can anyone knows how to restore to my previous firmware version 053 or 054 .

In my case it is not worth updating to 071.004 version. In fact the camera image visual is fade not clear.. Menu browser is slow or hangs sometimes...

I upgrade my E52 firmware since 3rd of July 2011, and can till the following:

Advantages:

  - speed became faster.

  - email defintion problems was completely solved.

Disadvantages:

  - Some times internal processes keeps running on; which makes the mobile became more hoter and dramatically waste the battary (to solve it make reboot immediatly).

  - Got confliect on connecting GSm network all the time; specially when auto switch between Packet Data and receiving calls or SMS; which yeilds in disconnection from GSM network while network signal still displayed as strong (to solve it make reboot).

- Fast dial up is no more functioning well.

Software version: 071.004

Custom version: 071.004.C00.01

I hope Nokia can correct these bugs soon,

It does seem to be more stable, but I see many people complaining about wallpapers not displaying nicely anymore.

My biggest issue is that the type-to-search function in the contacts list does not search for company name anymore.  In firmware 071 it only searches first & last name.  Previously you could have a contact entered with only a company name (e.g. a shop or business) and type-to-search would find it, but not anymore with 071.  :-(

Type to search is fixed again in version 081.003. Also free space on the internal memory ("c drive") is much better.
