I would think the resale value is pretty low, having recently seen new unlocked E6-00 handsets going for substantially under £200 (Carphone Warehouse, if I recall correctly).

I think we'd be lucky to get  much above £125 on Ebay, regardless of Belle.

My Nokia E71 proved a really worthwhile (cost / benefit) purchase in November 2008 (my daughter's still using it ) 

I'm increasingly confident that I will not feel the same about my E6-00 from Sept 2011 when it's replaced

I have now decided I will not update my E6 to Belle until it is revised and made suitable for the E6 such as better home screen/widget arrangement, hardware d-pad support (I can't believe that one, no hardware d-pad support on a phone for which the principle feature is a hardware keypad & d-pad, someone really is asleep on the job at Nokia) and other irritations like the compromised sms message view.

So I was wondering Nokia... now you've rediscovered 059H6F1, please can we have the Anna updates we missed out on?

I was thinking the same thing after reading all those comments regards Belle on E6. Seems like 90% of E6 users are frustrated with new OS and there is no downgrade option. 

I wish Nokia would provide us with Anna updates, most of us are still stuck with v21. 

This phone could have been the best phone I ever had, I really had high hopes in Nokia finally coming back, but I'm not so sure anymore. Please, Nokia, gives us Anna updates..

I don't want to end up with a **bleep** plastic Android device. But attleast that would work, I guess.

It would be nice to think that boffins at Accenture are even now putting in the keyboard hooks for d-pad support on the homescreen - but please release it via Sw-update, not by providing a whole new firmware from scratch!

I am thinking of doing the same or keeping the E6 until some other decent advice comes out. Maybe a Nokia Windows phone or a QNX based blackberry phone if they ever arrive. 

From reading the threads on Belle on the E6 it doesn't seem like it's worth upgrading at all.

I'm in the same boat as all you guys.... not a single update.

With Belle's status being "Waiting for approval" - does anyone have any sort of ETA on that from experience or otherwise ?

I had a tiny update: "Time zone update". It's not Belle yet. Nokia will not give a timeframe, we all know that. Just keep on breathing and living your life in general.

The resale value of the E6 is very low. I will be keeping mine as a backup phone in case my other phone gets stolen or is bering repaired. My E71 served that purpose until both my N8 and E71 died on me within one week. Then I bought the E6.

Now for that Nokia PureView 808... Wow! I want it!

Finally. The update to Belle is now available for E6s model number 059H6F1. Let's now hope that further updates to Belle will be made available to us too (unlike former Anna updates...). Enjoy.

I'm also getting the update, but without a Microsoft 'PC' no way to update. I guess I'll have to wait until I visit my parents in April or something.

Please Nokia! I'm thinking of buying the PureView 808 but without Mac support ....  aargh!

I've just realised something of casual interest that is an occasional subject of debate on this forum and that is the time taken for (regulator?) approval.

The Belle firmware update for our E6 was listed as waiting for approval just over two weeks ago and now here it is, ready to download. That makes it seem like a fairly quick process to me or at least potentially a fairly quick process.
