- keypad backlit doesn't working properly
- afetr exiting ovi store there is still connection, which you have close manually
- clock in the menu is moved to the right
- the most irritating thing!! Now, when sending sms, for default is set number imput reciever field.. You have to change it in order to put full or partial contact name - every time! It doesn't remeber last setting. It used to be usefull feature, but now Nokia destroyed it

I notice my keyboard mappings are now foreign. No sure what country but normal letters are OK but the other marks are not like the full stop key now shows the letter a with 2 small dots over it. the comma key now shows an o with 2 small dots over it.
Language is set to English and i have reinstalled the firmware via Nokia Updater.
It was fine on 021.014
cheers

2011-08-02 10:48
Notification light is same... ![]()
other that I think have been fixed are..
1. Lag time when removing apps is reduced..
2.Sosial icon has been improved...
3.Chat not available (I'm don't remember if it pre-installed..
)

I can't find any new version via OTA or Ovi Suite.
Where are you from? I bought my E6 on Nokia Online Shop Italy.

Notification Light is then a HW Problem.
Good that the lag time is better!

I found that the Log has a bug. The individual log items are not showing the data connections, eventhough filter setting is to show all communication logs. It only shows voice and sms logs.

the same happened before the update, the same happens with Social. you have to manually kill their associated processes
- the most irritating thing!! Now, when sending sms, for default is set number imput reciever field..
the same happened before the update, no way I could enter any name without opening the address book

Yesterday I've been able to upgrade my E6, in the end.
I've noticed that now it doesn't ask you to allow WLAN connctions when you put it offline, and it doesn't automatically connect for one second to WLAN when you put it online anymore (I don't have any widget which requires connectivity).

@gabriele339
1. It did, indeed
2. It didn't. Before update it was possible to put partial uniqe contact name just after opening new message. Without changing input method.

I agree with arbakul.
I have two E6 devices, one is firmware 021.014 and the other is the new 022.014
The older firmware can default to letter input for composing new messages.
The new firmware cannot default to letter input, it will always default to number input and you have to manually change every time you compose.

I confirm that I wasn't able to enter names in the SMS recipient field, maybe it depended on the language..?
Anyway that doesn't matter anymore. ![]()

It's weird.. . Have you chosen input type to text?

Can anyone tell me which are the bugs that have been fixed in this firmware?
What about Vibration issue?
2011-08-03 14:02
OK sorted i think, this works for me on the new firmware...
1. If i go to the Messaging app and choose 'New message", then the default is ALWAYS number input, so need to change to letter input.
2. If i add a shortcut to the homescreen for the app called "New message", and then launch that from the homescreen instead, then the input is letter. :-)
So that is good news. My old E72 had a custom left softkey for new message so this method is better for me and quicker i think.

nope, no vibration ore notification-light fix! These are harward problems, and they will stay this way!
Improved Browser, the lag in manage applications was attended.
They say battery life has improved, but I don't believe that! ![]()
