Got recommended(required?) software on Nokia Ovi Suite.

What is complete changelog beside these meaningless sentences? Are there any known bugfixes?

Nokia E66 software:

Version 510.21.009

REQUIRED

• Updated applications
• Better Stability
• Improved features and performance

Nokia does not release changelogs because each firmware version for each region differ from each other, even mainly they have different bugs. However most updates do contain bugfixes.

I will try and then let's see what is different. Hope that infamous microphone lag when answering is fixed, each time I answer feel like an idiot - hallo, hallo

I've installed this update without any great problem.

Things seem generally faster but the major improvement (found to date) is with the GPS.

It now finds it's first position almost immediately - it previously took a number of minutes!

im from germany.

With the new (latest) firmware ive got the Problem, that i must charge the battery almost every or every second day.

before the latest update the battery needs a charge every 3-4 days.

I'm from Sweden and update my international by in Vietnam e66, with Ovi Suit, take a lot of time, but all work's fine.

It was nessessary here, because if i not update, this phone have not worked today, something with 3 Sweden are upgrading the net.

Very easy to update with Ovi Suit, all program's and map's autodetect and autoupdate.

Here goes my observations

Changes:

FW 510.21.009 - date 19-03-2011

Maps 3.03 Lite  (v3.03 10wk12 b05)  Attention: downgraded to if 10wk11 b04 using Ovi update. So do not update.

Improvements:

1. Better performance.Rotates the screen faster, camera opens a little faster. 
2. Battery holds longer. Strange that other complain the opposite. Made a hard reset so it may help.
3. No more "Insert SIM card" problem. It should have been a hardware problem but seems resolved by SW.
4. GPS got faster fix than before. Almost instant.
5. At last selecting new Wifi hotspot and clicking "start web browsing" it doesn't set it as default in web browser.

Not changed:

1. Still the infamous microphone lag when answering  other party doesn't hear the first words . Still I fell like an idiot every time I answer and have to say the greeting 2x times .

2. Sound glitch when scrolling or for some alerts. There should be only one beep without splits. Youtube video

3. Screensaver clock glitch. If button is not pressed long enough the screen corrupts. Sometimes it locks up and don't answer to button press again. Youtube video 2

4. Side(focus) button still doesn't open camera.

I can't update to 510.21.009. When updating, it showed error code 12014.What dose it mean?
