I have a problem since I updated new firmware..My phone won't turn off, instead, it's, when I push the power button- restarting..Also it's restarting if I don't put it on a desk gently,without pressing anything..I reinstalled it again,did *#7780# and *#7370# and nothing..it keeps restarting..

USA unlocked version.

No problems at all.

Gamin/Google Maps/RoadSync(Nokia exchange sync not ready for prime time imho)/Nokia Messaging/Wireless all work fine. Also 8gig mem card.

Phone seems to work faster although I never really had trouble with 100 or 200 updates, either. Only issue was that Nokia messaging or RoadSync; cannot remember which (both on 200 and 300 upgrade) had a hiccup the first time I ran it. After that, no problems. No reboots, no dropped calls. Been using for a couple of weeks.

Camera color is much better!!!

I've just got my E71-1 a few days ago through vodafone Ireland. When I check on the europe.nokia.com website and enter the product code it say that the latest firmware version is 200.21.118 which is the version that is on my phone. My real problem is that sip does not work and the posting seem to be suggesting that the latest 300. version will cure this problem.

Any suggestion about what will happen if I install the 300. firmware or other atvice would be very welcome and appreciated.

A great Nokia bug.... Whenever my phone goes to screensaver, the hour doesn't refresh. I need to reset the phone to change that! Droped N79 for E71 and i see Nokia sceensaver bug.

I got mine e71 with v200 software.

Randomly stucks when I try to answer a call and resets after a 20 sec of freeze

Formatted, hard reseted, performed clean install of v300, but the phone still randomly stucks on answer of incoming call

The rest seems to be working smoothly

I made format card, reset phone, and seems to be ok now.

Anyway, we received an email from Nokia that tells me if warranty is to go to a certified service that will solve the problem without any expense on my part.

For safety reasons I have to go to authorized service.

I'm sorry for those who do not have phones in warranty period.
Finally, is a great, great, shame for Nokia.

After update make a hard reset! The screensaver is fixed now. The call bug seems to be ok untill now. The text size in the messages still not working with big letters.

I have tried and tried and tried, but after upgrading to the new firmware 300.21.012, I just can't get the WLAN to work.  I keep getting the Connection Unavailable error, with the WLAN icon and a lock next to it, under the battery power bar.

I have an unlocked Nokia E71 purchased legally in India and I am using it with the English language pack but since I am travelling in Finland, I do not want to format my phone.  I do not know whether at all or not this problem has been resolved or not.

I have read posts that the 300.21.012 Firmware Update has been taken off the Nokia site, but I downloaded it this morning and now my phone has gone KAPUT.

Nokia - please help!
