I am facing problem on my nokia 701 device after installing new Microsoft apps 2.0


  I installed perfectly after restarting phone,  the smart installer icon was there with name of new e-mail widget?

and my old E-mail was replaced as freestyle e-mail, after installing update , andnow it's not opening.

may i know why?

please help me.

Same with me, i am in soup with this now mail widgets do not refresh and free style email icon does not work

GUYS I HAVE NOKIA 701 TOO WAS FACING SAME PROB BUT TODAY I GOT FP1 UPDATE GO TO KEYPAD
TYPE "*#0000#"
N THEN AGAIN GOTO OPTION
N CHOOSE "CHECK FOR UPDATE"
LET IT CHECK AND THEN UPDATE UR PHONE
AFTER THAT UPDATE DONE THAT EMAIL'S PROB WILL B SOLVED N U'LL GET FP1 WITH NEW 20 WIDGETS N SUPER FAST SPEED

atm the new software is downloading n its half way through let see if it fixes my prob

Nokia has identified the root cause of this, and it is not a global issue - it seems to be affecting a small number of Indian software variants where one particular language pack has caused the unexpected side-effect.

Owners of the Nokia 603, 700 and 701 can resolve this by updating to Belle Feature Pack 1, as you have already discovered.

MS Apps have been temporarily withheld for other Symbian^3 models which might be affected by this situation, and a fix is already in development for those customers who have been affected already.

Same problem here except for the fact that I had updated to Belle FP1 BEFORE installing Microsoft apps. Email widget opens but freezes and soft reset didn´t solve the problem!

hmm...i hav also faced the same problem...but there is a app named "WPEmu" available on nokia store...after installing ,launch this app nd there is a icon of email...nd from this u can easily access the email directly...try it.
