As i am waiting for an frimware update for my n73 i am wandering should i by another device?

The last update wash in 2007 and no news for a new version and the n73 users are mising alot of new applications etc. I thik so can some one tell me if Nokia has in mind for an update or should i buy miself another phone?

You have to consider that the N73 has been available for almost two years.

As with any model the older it gets the less updates you will see.

They may be further updates or they may not, no one knows.

Yes you are right. But for wath countries? for midle europe nothing just an update from 2007.

no.. n73 is not a forgotten phone... it's the most releases updates for its firmware.. and it's the most popular nokia phone even after n95 was released

Mostly, phones get update by its popularity. Just see how often N73 gets update. Not-so popular phones like N81 even though it's fairly new, only got updated once/twice until now....

No, the really forgotten device is 6290. There has not been a firmware update since the phone had been released!
