my lumia 800 cyan is being repaired so am using my spare 800 black.
 Pluged phone into zune and it thinks it is up to date 7.10 (8773)
however i can not change tile sizes neither does it have the shortcut letters in the applications list.
 Any help?

on a similar note is there a way to restore my cyan content and settings onto my other phone?

Hi Valentine800,

Can you check your firmware revision number? Go to Settings > About > More info. Check this link http://www.nokia.com/global/support/software-update/lumia-software-update/availability-in-europe/ and compare yours with the ones that is listed on the website. If your firmware revision number is lower, it means that your phone doesn't have the WP7.8 update yet. 

With regard to your concern about restoring the contents and settings of your previous phone to your Black Lumia 800, you can restore the contents but the "No" for the settings. See the steps below:

1. You can only restore the media content of your Cyan Lumia 800 if you have synchronized it to Zune. All you need to do to is to sync those files to your Black Lumia 800. To know how to sync the media files click this link.

2. For your contacts, you just need to setup your Live account onto the Black Lumia 800 and all of your contacts will be synchronized automatically.

thank you, the tables a little confusing though. i assume its not availiable yet.
