I　have used this new APAC version for serval weeks. Little improvements can be found.
1. more guickly when access mutimedia, themes,menu, etc.
2. music sounds large.
3. Phone can't be restarted via 3rd part software.
4. Disk C size reduced to 19.09 MB.

REstarting via third party software was disabled even in the last V5.0638.3.0.1 firmware.



BTW, what do you mean by music sounds large? Do you mean louder?


With regard to speed (faster access to menus), is it really noticeable or improved just a little bit? I'm asking since it seems this is only the motivation for upgrading.

I read that there are service providers who doesn't allow updating your unit's firmware.

Well I have installed the Euro Version on My N70...
This is what I can say about the new firmware:

- Battery Life improved
- Faster Menu
- Faster Application Switiching
- Music Louder via Speaker
- 18MB FREE Memory on Phone Memory
- Camera Imaging Quality Improved
- Camera Taking Pictures Quicker
- Video Qaulity Great In .MP4 (High)
- SMS Sending & Receiving Excellent

Any more errors or updates ill post
