Hey guys, I downloaded the Updater and connected my phone fine no problems, but then it searches for updates and says none are available altho I'm using a 2.* of firmware. Is it becuase it's locked to T-Mobile? And if so, what can I do?

this is becoming a common question. it is likely that this is the latest version available for tmobile.

you may wish to call them and ask them about this

I think the FAQ quite clearly says that if updater will always give you latest SW version approved by your operator. If NSU tells you that you have the latest, then you *do* have the latest :-) In this case best place to call and ask why no newer SW is available then probably your operator...

I'm absolutely sure T-Mobile released the v5.0609.2.0.1 firmware in the UK, Austria, Hungary, Germany, Czech-Republic.

Also, the v5.0609.2.0.1 FIFA WORLD CUP SPECIAL T-Mobile FW for the N70, was released in Germany, UK, Croatia.

Plus, in Croatia, T-Mobile already has the v5.0616.2.0.3

So i don't get it why you can't update.

there is a new sticky up about product codes. it is possible (gunglewhack made this point) that the product code isnt supported yet for that country.

again, this will require a little patience.

Have a look at http://discussions.europe.nokia.com/discussions/board/message?board.id=swupdate&message.id=451 If you really think that newer SW should be available, then this suggests that you should post your product code to the board here so that our dear friends at Nokia who provide this service to us might be able to troubleshoot better.
