Hi Yvonne,

Where does this information come from and who keeps the system up to date? The reason for asking is that 059D496 is still showing as "013.016 in creation" but we already know that this has been published? (check this yourself by putting the product code into the Can I Update screen). Considering the fact that this phone is identical to 059D494 in all but colour, could development of 014.002 be at the same stage but someone has just forgotten to update the status system?

Thank You Skyee, I found. thank you for that list, GERMANY 059D2S3 013.016 Published could be updated with Feb 24.th 2011. Is anything clear whether n when PR1.2 (14.002) or PR2.0 will be available? I still miss a plan which gives information how and when something is planned. Unfortunately after some weeks of reports on the net that a new update is available, everyone is frustrated because the own PC is last on updatelist. Then when is arrives there is so much anger about no information and frustration that it weighs out the mostly the little happiness coming with the Update. Please be better sellers and surprise your customers now it feels often, at least in my breast just being disappointed

Although in the sheet, my c7 product code- 059B7C0 - Pr1.2 is listed as published, but still it's not available via ovi suite or Nokia Software updater, It is available via OTA though. Any ideas when it will release through ovi suite/ Nokia software updater?

Nokia make me sick. I can't install Ovi store on my phone. İt appears always fail . My C6-01 updated PR 1.2 but it's not enough. Ovi store can't still install . I wonder if Nokia can make a phone which works perfect.

Hey I have the pr 1.2 released for my nokia n8 I can get via ota but via ovi suite and SU I can't get it should I wait until I can get it throught my PC or just do it via ota because I heard that the update is 165 mb but on ota it shows 907 kb Can you help me out thanks

It's only a small update from PR1.1 and is 907kb. The full download when available will be about 160mb+.

Hi All,
After I hard reset my n8, I lost ovi store, maps and ovi music store. From updates I could get back ovi store and maps but not ovi music store. Now I can't play ovi music as it says this is not my registered mobile. I am unable to get the license for my music however I can play new music downloaded only through my pc. Nokia care has made me do everything from deleting licenses to resetting the phone. But nothing has worked. Can anyone help me?

i dont understand how the maker of this spreadsheet can claim 059C5Q8 is 'waiting on operator approval or similar' when it is an unbranded UK variant... ? There IS no operator on this product code...

I am mightily cheesed off considering how quickly i got PR1.1, two days after its announcement, but am still waiting on this...

 What you have to understand is, even though your handset is unbranded, there still needs to be a team of software engineers who work for Nokia to test and approve the update for UK variant handsets. Hence the " Or similar "  statement.

Also, bear in mind, PR1.2 is only a small voluntary update for MfE so won't affect the majority of users. See Skyee's post No.1 & 2 at the start of this thread.

Hi all,

I'm travelling today and tomorrow, but just some short updates.

*UK country variants (C7, 059D494/059D496): 059D494 has the update available to PR1.1 and the update for PR1.2 is in creation. 059D496 has PR1.1 in creation. The status comes directly out of our variant database - ie. nobody has to update those systems as they show directly what is work in progress/finishd/etc.

*Orange France variant (059C3H1): is just posted the answer in the N8 thread. ie. Orange France only requested PR1.1 which is updateable but the local team started work again on this variant which is why it appears twice.

* For all PR1.2 "when" questions: I myself don't have a plan by country if something is coming or not. But please remember that this update is only a bugfix update, ie. if you don't have problems with MfE then you won't get anything that you can't get from OviStore either (Maps SR6).

*"Waiting for operator approval or similar" - this was also explained already. If we have a country variant that is unbranded, our local teams nevertheless conduct tests and approve the software, which is the "and similar part". Nokia is never releasing untested software.

Why on the new excel file,i can find my PC twice:

PR1.2 in itself is unlikely to fix any ovi store problems as it only differs from PR1.1 in a MfE fix. However, you may possibly find that if you do a full update to PR1.2 via Ovi suite rather than OTA that might fix your ovi store problem. Otherwise the fix will be more complex e.g. you might need to update your qt version. Did you flash to get to PR1.1?

There are two entries in the file for your phone because PR1.1 is published whereas PR1.2 is still in creation.

got my update via O.S.and after that my store stopped working.
