N8-00

I Bought my N8 on the 2nd Nov 2010, this phone is really gave me a lot of trouble instead of its pleasure.

 

1. The phone will always restart when u r surfing the net, playing a game, listening to music even during a phone call.

2. Sometime shut down by it self, u won't be able to on it even sometime (i faced before 6 hours later)

3. NOW ALREADY 1 DAY GONE, STILL UNABLE TO ON IT.

 

Nokia Please provide some suggestion on how to overcome the problem. For your information, the phone had been sent to nokia center before for restoring and flashing but nothing improve.

This is just a user to user forum representatives from nokia doesnt see this, so call nokia care or just take the phone to the place where you bought it and get it replaced.

It's a fault with some N8 units

Take it to a nokia care point to have it looked at,

 

there is nothing you can do as a user to corect the issue

Same problem here , The resetting N8-00,  N-8 three weeks old, when using MSN and SKYPE, phone comes to a halt or resets it self, seems that it is unable to run more than one app at a time, Should have bought a HTC Desire, The longer i have this thing the more i find wrong with it, Painstakelgly slow when using the internet, am on the 3 network and my old phone goes like a bomb.

Very poor show from Nokia

hi,i have a problem with a n8-00 device,it cant be upgraded to belle refresh!! i have symbian anna,is working great,but i still want belle.....i tried with nokia suite and it says that my device is upgraded and is no software available for it!!! will you please help me!!!thanks a lot!!!

hi mate,

in your case, it is due to one of two things. Either your device is branded (e.g. Vodafone, and has their custom apps / wallpapers etc)....in this case you will need to contact your network operator and ask them if your device will be updated to Belle Refresh. The other scenario is that your device is a Country Variant (where Nokia provides the generic Belle Refresh and it is up to your local region's Nokia to either approve and release the update with their own customisations, or reject it). In that case, you will need to contact your local Nokia Care and ask them about the update: http://nokia.com/support
