Just checked the Software Update app on my Nokia N97 and it is showing a collection of application updates!

Maps 3.1

N97 C: Phone Memory Update

N-Gage Application 1.30

Nokia Messaging 10.0

Ovi Contacts 1.20

Installing them now :-)

yeah. i'm getting them on the vanilla white n97. except of the maps update.

I keep seeing that the NAM version also has these updates on blogs , but mine is not showing any. =( Anybody in the U.S. tried theirs?

Cool. I'm also seeing the N97 C: Phone Memory Update and Nokia Messaging 10.0, but not the rest.

The N97 C: Phone Memory Update seems to address the silly problem of C: not being big enough to install some s/w, such as the Nokia Messaging 10.0

The Nokia Messaging updated here is version 10.00(16). What I already have is 10.00(14).

After upgrading to 10.00(16), I receive an email from Nokia Messaging saying:

"... The email address you registered will not work with this version of the Nokia Messaging software on your phone. ... please upgrade your software. To download the most up-to-date ..."

The email gives me a link, which eventually gets me 10.00(14). So basically I need to downgrade!

Well my UK White N97 (0587240) had all the updates as well, just the Firmware I am waiting on now then!

OVI Contacts update just keeps failing on mine. N97 (RM-505 UK Vodafone FW 11.0.021). Still able to run OVI Contacts latest BETA though.

If I install and run the latest beta and then log on I get a application updates available message which then takes me to Software Updater and the the update fails in the same way as If I uninstall OVI Contacts beta and run Software Updater.

I too also saw 5 updates on my SW this morning:

Maps 3.1 (trying to download)

N97 C: Phone Memory Update (downloaded + installed successfully)

N-Gage Application 1.30 (trying to download)

Nokia Messaging 10.0 (trying to download)

Ovi Contacts 1.20 (trying to download)

The others just won't download! 

I've turned the phone on / off and have good reception 3g / 3.5g coverage but still nothing!

Advise anyone?

I got two updates, the C: Memory Update and the Nokia Messaging Update. Had to install the C: memory Update first to install the Nokia Messaging Update.

After the update, my Macbook stopped recognizing the USB connection. Nothing. No "Charging" message and no "PC Suite, Mass Memory," etc. choices.

I had this problem with the original firmware. I would have to do a soft reset to get it back. Updating to firmware version 11 solved that and I had no problems for more than a week. Now it's back with these latest updates. And a soft reset DIDN'T solve the problem this time.

Any ideas?

I have the Maps 3.1, Phone Memory, N-Gage, and Ovi Contacts availible for download, but the installation fails every time. Any suggestions? I have a black NAM edition.

Try installing only the Phone Memory Upgrade first. Then go back and install the others.
