Good, let's see what the improvements are. To tell you the truth, I didn't notice problems with V3.55.

Hi,

v3.55 also worked fine for me, except that people calling me after i'd been connected to my parrot carkit heard an echo of themselves. The only way of solving this was switching the phone off and on again after the carkit connection had ended.

Can you confirm if the update is downloadable already? Don't have my datacable with me right now and the Nokia firmware advisor says that 3.55 is still the latest...

I've just tried to upgrade, however NSU is still offering V3.55 as the latest software version. I guess we have to wait a while until the new version becomes available.

I just mailed my local NSC to check if they have that version already available. Once it's available I want to have it. :-)

My local Nokia Service Centre seem to have the newest version, but can't tell me what the changes are. Guess I'll have to try it. I will upgrade tomorrow.

Got 4.03 installed now. Can't tell if the echo problem is fixed. But now I can't sync with my pc anymore (not by bluetooth and not by cable....) Do I need to reset something?

What was the code for a cold-boot again? *6630# or something????

And that solved the sync issue, now let's see if I finally can restore the backup i've made on de memdisk.

Good to know you were finally able to upgrade. On the NSU site they are still not offering v4.03. I wonder how long will it take?!

No Idea on how long it will take...

But after I did the cold boot, I also was able to get Nokia-Manhattan working.

Probably something was wrong with my setup that prevented me from doing all kind of stuff. Cold-Booting solved a lot for me.
