Hey,

we have started rolling out a new SW update for Asha 200 (RM-761) and Asha 201 (RM-799 & RM-800):  v. 11.95. This update is globally targeted (excluding China) and should be already available via Nokia Suite for many countries/regions. FOTA update packages should also follow soon. 

Key changes compared to previous 11.81/11.87/11.90 SW versions:

*  Phone software stability improvements for phone calls, messaging, media player and camera.

How can i update my asha 200, i install download v11.95 via my nokia suit and when try to install it via pc suit, the data cable automatic disconnect and after the pc suit said there was a problem. Then the suit stop working And the device reconnect automatic via usb. Plz give me solution. Thank u.

I have installed this software in my phone on Jan 19 2013. But i did not see any improvements for messages and media payer. Simply wasted time on updating the software....I was expecting updates on deleting multiple messages and graphic equalizer for media player...upset with the SW release...

the main driver for this SW update is to improve the phone stability and fix certain issues with the phone (which would cause the phone to freeze)  -  I would recomment this update for all users, especially if they have faced such issues. But true, there are no new features like that included. 

for everyone else: the update rollout is still ongoing and because of this, it's currently only available via Nokia Suite. But FOTA update packages will be eventually (hopefully soon!) available as well.

if you send me your product code I can try to check the situation. It's the 7 digit code which is printed on your device label sticker (that you can see after removing battery), starting with 059xxxx.

11.95 SW version seems to be available on the server for your product code. But as I mentioned, currently still only via Nokia Suite. If you wait for some time, it will be eventually available also via FOTA (if that is your preferred update method)

How can I update software via mobile.

If your phone has SW update application, then you just need to go to that app. Run the app to search for available updates. If there is, it will ask you if you want to download it on the phone.
