Hey,

A new SW update for Asha 302 (RM-813 & RM-884) has been published: version 14.92. This update is currently only targeted for Europe, Latin Americas and MEA regions and should be already available both via Nokia Suite and FOTA.

Key changes compared to the previous 14.78 SW version:

• Improvements to the network roaming
• Manual operator selection enabled
• Fix for video playback/pause functionality
• General performance & usability improvements

Happy to hear it but don't know why Country Variant UK remains upon 14.53!

aspergerguy: the unfortunate "default answer" would be: country/operator variants almost always arrive "late". or sometimes do not take the updates at all.  I personally do not like this and it's a topic we are looking to improve in the future.

send me your product code (the 7 digit code printed on the device label sticker, usually below IMEI number. starting with 059xxxx) and I'll try to check what's the situation.

14.92 SW version seems to be available for your product code (059K7V1). If you are unable to this version via FOTA, it should be definitely available at least via Nokia Suite (just checked).

I have checked the case. There are a few fixes included in the newer SW that are defined "mandatory" so your variant should be also getting either 14.78 or 14.92 (not sure which yet) update. you could expect the update soonest early next year as the  holidays are slowing down some of the regional SW approvals.

I have a question: what is the difference between devices ( same phone model ) with different product codes? Are those differences based of gsm operators and their specific applications or custom themes?

That good news.

In the next version, it will be possible to add the option to enable and disable the data packet, put an alarm to alert the minute the call, and the option to choose only one folder when using the music player and well not open the entire collection.

when can i get the 14.92 update for asha 302 in pakistan? will there be any updates after this? there is no update available on nokia suite as well as on the device. when will this issue get resolved? please answer asap. Thanks alot.

When will this one become available for The Netherlands? I've got an unbranded nokia asha 302 with firmware 14.28.

there's no such SW version for the product as 14.28. there has been 14.23 and 14.26 however.

when did you last check? The update appears to have been published for your product code early this morning, so try clicking the "refresh" button on the "software updates" view in Nokia Suite if the update does not automatically show up.
