Hey,
A new SW update for Asha 311 is currently being rolled out: version 5.92. Some of the consumers are already able to get the update, the rest should follow soon. The update is currently also only available via Nokia Suite, and not via FOTA yet. I will be posting an update here when there is further development on this topic.
Key changes compared to the previous 3.90 SW update include:
* Improved touch screen performance
* Improvements to device memory handling
* Improvements to application data connections
* Improved keylock functionality
* A warning is now given when the volume is too loud
* General performance & usability improvements

subsonic2010:
*#0000# shows the actual device SW version and *#0010# shows the device content version. so in summary your device SW was updated fine. it's a known issue that the content file does not get flashed to the phone when the device is updated with Nokia Suite. this is where e.g. all the preinstalled Java application are stored and also why no application or service updates are mentioned in the change log. it's a common issue for all Series 40 devices, not just Asha 311.
there should be a new Nokia Suite release oncoming which would help to solve this (at least for the latest devices).

Hi, i downloaded the update using nokia suite however i am facing difficulties installing the same, i have nokia 311 with 3.xx version. after download and backup, at the time of installtion. the phone screen blinks and after some time phone gets switched off automatically. and at that time Nokia Suite shows the error that phone connection lost.
and it shows instruction to disconnect phone, restart and then wait for installtion but , same things repeats after doing the procedure.
i am stuck on installtion step.
please help me update.

doshirushab & Yuvi22398:
I have checked and the 5.92 update should be available for your product code.
JoaoPaulo:
seems that this is a Brazil product code. The 5.92 update does not appear to be available on this country yet - I will try to check the situation. Might be that the SW approval for this country just take a bit longer.

radhey: Are you using the latest Nokia Suite version? if not, update get the latest version (3.6) and try again.

Hey armagon, i have updated my asha 311 to 5.92 but there is still no copy-paste option, why?
I also noticed that the cancel button below Select Internet Connection popup doesn't work, it never clicks. I have attached screenshots of the phone so that you could see what i mean.
