Please help me to update my Nokia Asha 311. I have softwere version of v3.8. I want to update it in v5.92 It is not showing any available update for this model. My mobile Content No. is mh_059F7M6

It is better to launch a full cooked product than a half cooked..
As nokia is taking a long time it means that this would be the update with fixed all the and some new feature..

just checked and 5.92 SW update has been published for your product code. Try with Nokia Suite if you are not able to get the update via FOTA. Update instructions can be found from here: http://www.nokia.com/global/support/software-update/belle-asha-symbian-software-update/

Is there a list anywhere on this web site of Asha 311 versions which can get the 5.92 update and in which regions?  It would save everyone posting their phone details here one at a time to ask if that's why their phone isn't updating.

I'm still on 3.81 but I can't get an update for my phone.  I've tried USB via Nokia Suite v3.7.22 (the latest version, I think), from the phone via mobile data (3G), and from the phone via wireless LAN.  All say no update is available.

I'm in the UK and the phone was purchased SIM-free from the UK dealer recommended by the Nokia web site.

When will I be able to get v5.92?  (Or even 3.90?)

currently we don't have any automatic checker for this implemented. I could as a workaround perhaps post the list of published product codes for this SW release, but there is literally hundreds of them so the list is not very  "readable"

there seems to be an actual problem with your product code though. Via Nokia Suite the latest available update version for it is 3.90 and via FOTA it's 5.92... These should be matching. We are checking why Nokia Suite update is missing.

Thanks for looking into this.  I don't even get offered 3.90, though, and that's pretty old now, so something's not right.  It doesn't matter whether I use Nokia Suite or FOTA.
