Latest software release for Nokia Asha 300 is 7.49

• Nokia Browser 2.0
• Contacts sync correction when switching from Nokia Symbian phones to Asha 300
• Correction to displaying contact’s name for incoming calls
• General usability and performance improvements
• Time zone correction in Russia

Hi i have completed the software update however now i can't access my emails via the mail on the phone i have to use the internet browser. Any idea why? Or how i can revert back to the old software?

I am from India and I am sorry to say that software update for nokia asha is available theoritically but not practically in India till date 19th August 2012 and I think it may be available in futre when I will throw my phone to dustbin.

Hi,

I can't get this update, my phone is on 06.27 and I desperately need this update(because my phone crashes every other day) but Nokia Suite says "no update" I tried using my phone's OTA connection it also sais "no update"

I also tried taking the SIM out and using Nokia Suite, didn't help.

I bought this phone in Germany and am currently with o2 pre-paid user.

Azannoth: can you type *#0010# in your phone homescreen and let me know the product code that is listed after the "content:..." field? I will check if the update packages for that variant should be available.

If the device is operator branded, it's quite possible that the operator has not approved the newer SW update (for reason or another).

Azannoth, yes, this seems to be a non-branded Germany country variant. I'm trying to check the situation.

Hi,

My nokia asha 300 is V07.44 16-03-12 RM-781.  When I try it to update to 7.49 via nokia suite, it said that my version 7.44 is the last one and I can update it.

Why? and How I can do it?

shame is stuffs up the notification lights on keypad and stuff...How i get rid of the update alerting me in suite???
