NOKIA ASHA 311 PROBLEMS:

.No brightness settings

.Cannot personalize themes
.Cannot put wallpaper on home screen.

.No options when sending a message
.No groups in contacts
.No recently used when sending a message
.No copy paste
.No send to many (Cannot send message as many as i want).
.No FLASH message
.Poor loud speakers
.No lyrics available in music player
.No screen/display orientation when playing a music
.Cannot turn off camera sounds
.Poor camera quality especially when taking photos indoors.

For God's sake fix the prediction on QWERTY. The dumbest prediction I ve ever seen. Conversations getting mixed up (The same way as in Asha 303). Annoying "high volume" alert in the music player. Shuffle in Music player sucks and a hell lot of restarts.

Hey there,

Just updated my phone to SW: 5.92 and though very few issues were fixed, the phone still doesnt play or allow streaming of videos over wifi or when on youtube. My model didnt recieve the Firmware update 3.90 and nokia never publisher the same for the product code M6 and problem still persist. Please kindly advice what can be done possibly.

Your site shows latest firmware version to be v3.90. however when i connected my nokia asha 311 to nokia suite v3.5 it shows the latest version to be v3.81 and inspite of refreshing several times it does not indicate the update. content: mh_059F7M6,V 03.81 RM-714 kindly help

I have checked and later 5.92 update should be available for your product codes, so the update availability problem should be at least solved.

As for other comments - I see some good feedback here, as well as the on the 5.92 thread. Will try to collect and forward some of the comments, but unfortunately I'm not in a position where I could ensure such improvements are implemented in practice. But the more feedback we get, the more data there is to back up the story.
