Hey, I updated my phone but I don't see any improvement. I mean I don't see the new icons, or the changes in interface as was expected.

Even the homepage is not like as in the official nokia page of x3-02. And also no change is made. I expcted changes as I saw in a youtube video which shows the improvements in 7.51 updated.

Also, I heard that Angry Birds lite was included in this update but I didn't get it. Please check if it's the 7.51 update only which has been rolled out.

Good day, I'm from the Philippines and I also have updated to v7.51 but I see no changes in the interface/applications or so.. Its the same as the v7.16. Why is that? I saw the video in youtube and its completely different from what I'm seeing. Please advise.

The phone is brandingfree and don't have any SIM or Net  Locks

There were massive problems updating the phone in the past. Only one update was ever shown via FOTA the other ones were just available via via Ovi Suite/Nokia Suite but only serveral month after the update was released and listed on the C3-01 support page of Nokia.

Asi said my phone is branding and lockfree, so what is wrong with this specific device.

According to the Nokia Firmware changelog wikipage, there's already a new v7.58 available for the Nokia X3-02 RM-775 variant.

But my cellphone's *#0010# info says: Content: tmn PT SL
so, I cannot update it!
Is there any way to force the update even if we don't have a supported "Content" field?

Firmware versions vary by Region/Product Code/Network locked or unlocked. When the update is available for your phone it will be shown via Nokia Suite. As for non-availability via FOTA, not all of the updates are available by that method.

Hey,

anybody who's not able to update - send me your product code and I'll take a look. It's the 7 digit code which is printed on the device label sticker (that you see when you remove the device battery), usually below IMEI code and starting with "059xxxx".

It would be nice if you could check my phone for updates and if there is none maybe for
the reason. My phone is brandingfree and doesn't have any SIM or Net  Locks. Just a plain Nokia Phone, so I don't see a reason for not unlocking the updates.

Yes, it seems that same Content: tmn PT SL problem...

I really don't think contacting TMN's technical support will make them port the new firmware just because I asked them to...

Is there any other way of forcing the update?
