Please remember that the only problem Nokia recognised with the original FP2 release was with the Music Store application and as such now the release is available the following two options are available: 1) If you already managed to install FP2 prior to it being pulled then all you will now get is the standalone Music Store Update (which I received yesterday) 2) If you are on any firmware less than FP2 then the full FP2 update including the new Music Store update should now available or will be as and when Nokia release the regional / operator customised versions. This firmware should work ok although you might notice that some of your non-Nokia applications might not work after the update as they may have not been updated to work with Belle FP2. If you find such an application then write to the developer to ask if they are able / likely to update the app. If you have any other weird problems with the core firmware / Nokia applications then raise them through the normal Nokia channels although I am sure Nokia will first suggest three options before they consider it a bug: a) Perform a battery removal reset (Shut down, remove the battery for 5-10mins, power up) b) Perform a soft reset - This does not delete any installed applications or files from the various drives but will reset your config. If you back up your phone using Nokia Suite then you will be able to return your config after this. c) Perform a hard reset - This will delete all data from the C & E drives and return the phone to the out of the box configuration. If you need to do this, you should perform a full backup of all files / apps, etc first but before you restore this backup after the reset it might be worth thinking, is the problem caused by one of your custom apps? If you go to the hassle of a hard reset then it might be worth spending a couple of hours installing everything from scratch rather than reinstalling a backup that may contain the initial problem file / application.
