have you found a way to fix this problem ? im curently having exactly the same problem you describe
phone is brand new ... cant use it.. no nokia care store in my country..
one thing you could try is to factory reset the phone by dialing *#7370#. Make sure you backup the userdata before doing that.
I have Asha 501 Dual SIM and is now updated to v.11.1.1
HOwever, with this upgrade, i can nolonger use the "OK" selection on the keypad. There is Return (or enter) key, but it cannot SUBMIT a selection i have made during an interactive transaction
How to i get this done.
The v. 11.1.1 SW update is now available also for TIM Brazil and Entel Chile variants. Overall update availability is getting pretty close to 100%
Few additional Claro variants started rolling out today.
New rolling out also for Claro Peru variants (which was pretty much the last remaining bigger availability gap).

@kataleya the update is not going to change much on your issues, only the added WhatsApp might be a benefit. Anyway, please give us that 7-letter code from the battery. That code determines your firmware variant which determines your current version. Then we can check together if you have the latest version.

@nisha1234 did you try the Nokia Software Recovery Tool already? There in that tool, what is your Nokia Product Code? If you do not have a computer to run that tool, that code is printed on the label of your phone (seven characters). The Nokia Product Code determines your firmware variant which determines your current version. We can check together, only with that code!
