Hi Guys,

  I own a nokia N8, the software updater in my mobile shows that the belle software is available for update but there is no sign of it in nokia ovi suite. Mobile software anna 25.007 /  Nokia ovi suite 3.3.86. My product code 0599330. I live at chennai in India. Will the nokia care centre be able to update belle software in my mobile or should i wait till it shows in nokia suite also.

I have a unlocked, unbranded black Nokia e6-00 with product code 059H6F1. I just wanted to know if this was on the list yet for a belle update, or any updates for that matter, I still have Anna software version 021.014 and could not update to the new version of Symbian Anna either. If anybody could help would appreciate it.

Having to endure a motherboard change on a new phone was already quite a bad experience (I had mine change 3 times within the first 2 month of purchased in Jan 2011). It is very saddening to know that we can't enjoy the hassle free update via Nokia Suite because we had our motherboard changed (which was not our mistake). Yes, I was told that the only way to update is to bring my phone to a Nokia Care Centre. That is not only troublesome (travel time, waiting time, etc) but they will wipe the data on the phone clean during the update. I faced the same problem when updating to Anna.

I really like my N8 and I am proud that I own a king of camera phone. I hope Nokia will seriously look into solving this problem. If not, Nokia is simply punishing their customer for being unlucky to get a defective first batch phone.

1.N8-00 device Software ( Use your PC to Update ) 

Why does it ask me to update via PC ???
