Nokia 5130 software problem

I am using nokia 5130 and its software version is 7.97 and some applications like web browser,calculator,conver etc are not working when press ok to open them text show invalid application.who can I solve this issue.

Hi zyeshan,

Welcome to the Nokia discussion boards!

It might be worth you trying to do the following resets:

Soft Reset:
Enter into your keypad *#7780# and when prompted, enter the default passcode 12345. If you have changed the code, it will be the code you changed it to.
A backup will not be needed as this will not delete any data.

Hard Reset:
This will erase all data on your device, so a backup is recommended before you do this.
Once backed up, enter *#7370# and when prompted, enter 12345 as the default passcode.

Check in settings-security-authority certificates : that there are almost 29 certificates or not if there are only 9 than its software problem go to nokia care if its 29 -
1. Just restore the phn and download again all software will wore
2. Open applications and the application which is not working go to its option & just update version software will definately work.
