Nokia 5800 Buttons not working

While using My Google maps one fine day the Contacts and Dialer on the Phone face in standby mode stopped working . The Green button which brings up the recent calls also doesn't work from standby.

I tried removing the battery , Sim card memory card etc, but no go. Any suggestions ??

Re: Nokia 5800 Buttons not working

does menu key still function?
And also touch after main menu ups

If you can get through to gmap, reset google map in its setiing. This will erase all the caches in gmap.

charge your battery in off mode, and when screen backlight goes half dark, press green key and see if it brings back to full brightness on screen to make sure your hardware (green key) is ok.

Can you connect to pc in pcsuite mode?

Backup your datas, a time may come and force you to hard reset your phone

if not solved, take it to Nokia Care Center. may be a hardware issue.

Glad to help :smileyhappy:
