Were you waiting for FP2, I'm in, etc. in FP1 059M3K4 and 059K2X7 Nokia 603 in Taiwan.
bought and used in Spain with Orange (prepaid Orange SIm not contract);
Current Firmware version: 111.030.0609,
product code 059M3L2
No idea about other guys in spain
Not contacted Nokia care yet
None, only hacked
Told me to wait (until the end of the world I guess).
If anyone knou anything about PC 059M727 actualization please tell me.
I just want to say that I simply cannot believe how terribly Nokia has managed the FP1 update. The entire situation is simply unbeliveable and quite frankly, unacceptable.
This, coming from a lifetime Nokia user who has only ever used Nokia phones going back 16+ years.
What is worse is that that regional Nokia customer service centers basically have zero clue as to what is going on, if they even know what FP1 [or possibly FP2] is.
Bottom line is this: FP1 is NOT a simple cosmetic update to the phone's OS. It includes SUBSTANTIVE improvements. For Nokia to have dropped the ball in this manner is simply ridiculous. And don't even get me started on the HK provider PCCW - they have even less of a clue than Nokia.
This is just scandalous...
And before I forget, are there any workarounds to get FP1 or later installed on a Nokia 700?
