I just want to say that I simply cannot believe how terribly Nokia has managed the FP1 update. The entire situation is simply unbeliveable and quite frankly, unacceptable.
This, coming from a lifetime Nokia user who has only ever used Nokia phones going back 16+ years.
What is worse is that that regional Nokia customer service centers basically have zero clue as to what is going on, if they even know what FP1 [or possibly FP2] is.
Bottom line is this: FP1 is NOT a simple cosmetic update to the phone's OS. It includes SUBSTANTIVE improvements. For Nokia to have dropped the ball in this manner is simply ridiculous. And don't even get me started on the HK provider PCCW - they have even less of a clue than Nokia.
This is just scandalous...
And before I forget, are there any workarounds to get FP1 or later installed on a Nokia 700?
