My phone's code is "059L1G2" bought from Amazon like a few more on this thread. Why dont we have FP1 yet???
Most of us here bought the phones UNLOCKED and NOT from ANY PROVIDER. Then WHY are we being held ransom to the whims and approval departments of unknown providers? Wasnt that the original obejctive? To be free of any such interference.

Still no update for 059L5V1 (Nokia_700_RM_670_Country_Variant_UK_GB_V2_Black_Grey_VAR188848).
The 700 is my main phone at the moment so I can't risk messing it up, but as soon as my 808 arrives I'm upgrading this 700 to Belle FP1 the "other" way...

No update here either. Product code: 059L7H3 , Provider: T-Mobile Hungary. This is pretty dissapointing. I've been waiting for months.

Hi there
Ok for start so far very frustrating experience sorry but it is what it is... NOKIA
Just purchased Unlocked Unbranded nokia 700 in USA via Amazon 200 $ is still alot of money in today's market ( the new FP1 for Symbian was going to be something spectacular according to advertisement so i chose it over Android ;-( that was a mistake
Well i CANNOT even get it for my phone since its not available yet.... (Why do you advertise it then as available for download)
My phone
Release Symbian Belle
Soft Ver 111.030.0609
Product code 059L1G3
Does it all now days have to be about money, **bleep** customer service and half released product/OS
Where is nokia suite for mac users? FP1 was gonna get rid of bugs but sounds from the posts like it added new one... will we have to wait to fix FP1 as well ? and how long i that going to take?
And after i have seen a comment from moderator that one of the customers is probably not ready for nokia and should go with different platform - really ??? what kind of support this is ???
Unbelievable...

I can see SF Bay area lawyers drooling over the false advertisement case from nokia in the US nation wide class action law suite...

I am relatively new to the world of Nokia. Can anyone tell me - are we actually likely to ever receive a response? It would at least be nice to know that this is sitting in somebody's in tray with a view to being dealt with when they are less busy rather than nobody even acknowledging this! I honestly don't mind if somebody tells me that it will be dealt with in 3 months rather nothing. The Nokia lady - skyee? - did say she was informally looking into it months back but still no acknowledgment that anything is happening. Should I give up hope?
You might possibly want to give up hope of getting the update via the official channel. I had a blue Nokia E7 Communicator, which I bought on the day of launch from Nokia's now defunct direct sales channel www.nokiadirect.co.uk. It had product code 059H316 which was an unlocked unbranded UK version. It eventually got the Anna update after several months and only after Yvonne (skyee) prodded a few people at Nokia UK. It still doesn't have the Belle update available for it. I sold it, because it was **bleep** me off too much, and bought an unlocked, unbranded Nokia 700 with product code 059L5V1, which as far as I was aware was an unlocked, unbranded UK version. It had Belle version 111.20.308 when launched, and has never received a single update - neither the 111.30 (Microsoft Apps) update nor the 112.10 (Belle FP1) update. I've nearly given up hope.
Having said that, I felt this way when I was waiting for Anna on my E7 and Yvonne (skyee) came up with the goods that time. It took a while, but Nokia did the right thing in the end.
I hope you get an update soon!

unfortunately I don't have any news, that's why I can't update you. We nevertheless continue chasing the local teams.

Thanks for you efforts, Yvonne.
I am afraid I have given up on getting Belle FP1 for my 700 now, even though it is within warranty and Nokia ought to be supplying the update. I'll stay subscribed to this thread in case it ever appears but I'm not holding my breath. Perhaps one day my 700 will arise with Belle FP1 like a bird from the fiery flames!

Thank you for your efforts, and for keeping us informed. Even if there is no new information, it is good to have an update every now and then.

I followed the steps in reply #13 on this page: ***************. It took a few attempts, but I'm happy now. It's much slicker and I have all the new widgets etc.

So Al, did you run into problems when flashing your 700, or did you just use the procedures detailed in aforementioned post 13 from the start?
I'm thinking of giving it a go sooner or later once my warranty period is up.

Oh, THANKS NOKIA, now I can't even find the bloody steps to flash my phone. It's YOUR FAULT and we're well aware of the consequences your narrow minded company has put in place. We can't even openly discuss ways to make our phones function the way they SHOULD.
Never again Nokia. Never again.
Your sales are failing. <3
That's the spirit.

"using these may damage your phone or invalidate your warranty"
Or it might result in you being able to use the phone in the way it was intended. But rules are rules, and I'm sorry for being a naughty boy. I was only trying to offer a glimmer of hope to those poor souls who have Tesco product codes. I guess there is no hope.
