Hi Nokia Community,

It is very unfortunate that i am facing so much problems that i have to write a post here, even though i know, no one of you would be able to sort out these disturbing issues.

I was using 701 updated to FP1, working ok besides some usual store crashes, recently it stopped opening some games like angry birds, spiderman, h.a.w.k.s etc it stayed blacked out when clicked on a game. So i thought about resetting it to factory settings.

Which turned out to be the worst mistake i ever made with this phone, let me list the issues i am facing mention below:

1. It is unable to connect to mobile internet connection at all, even though settings entered both automatic and manual way. (The only solution to this problem i have discovered is to leave the phone resetted, if i tried to back up my old settings and apps,its causing it to not connect to the internet)

2. Nokia store, Angry Birds NFC, Asphalt, Microsoft Apps, Maps are vanished, and nothing makes them appear back.

3. I have tried tirelessly to reinstall the 413MB frimware with latest version of Nokia Suite it says successful but it seems to fail because nothing changes/fixes on my phone not even a single icon.

4. Unstable WiFi connection, frequent web browser crashes.

Some other people having similar issues, fixed their internet problem by deleting kaspersky antivirus, but i don't have any such app installed on my phone but still something is causing my phone not to access the data connection when i try to restore the  backup.

I know i can manage by not doing backup and start over again, but what about the factory installed apps, store client, maps, crashes, WiFi?

I am so done with nokia, why do they release buggy and unstable frimware updates? Kindly provide an immediate fix to this issue.

Yep same thing with mine. I dont see the point of a 400mb firmware file reinstall if it does not add back everything on the phone like the default applications and pictures ect. They need to fix this.

Well I got back my Nokia Store app. But I cannot find the Video editor or the Photo editor software. My calibration settings for the gps is missing. All my default photos are gone as well as other options. Need help.

Nokia care is the solution.
Please backup important data before going to Nokia care.

I have also got a serious problem with my nokia 701

It was not sending any message from last 4 days i restarted it many time but no result and nokia software updater was not reinstalling the frimware because it said that NO SIM IS INSERTED.

today i restore the factory settings and deleted the data and after that my phone is not starting.. Nokia screen comes and then the 5 blinking dot and it reboots again and again......

any solution so plzz tell.
