First of all, thank you so much Nokia for this awesome firmware upgrade.

My N8 became new again!!!

I have a question, though,

¿Will at some point be available to us (ex-Symbian^3 users) those beautiful widgets that we can see all over the web from the Belle leaked versions?

I mean the weather widget, the reduced music player widget, the 2G/3G toggle widget, Mobile Data Track widget, the offline widget, BlueTooth Toggle widget, etc.

Dear USER 4get about those widgets as they are not included in the official update u may hope either to see them in any other update in any other era.but only hope i would suggest to u. . . . Thanx!

That's some Nokia skeptic user.

Come on, don't be so hard and give a chance for hope. With the Belle rollout they've showed they care to do things better and, like all we must do, they've learned from their mistakes.

Anybody from Nokia please to give us some lights at this topic will be much appreciated.

Im I being Dumb  or is their no way to search for just widgets in the Nokia store ?

Thats a bit of an oversight if thats the case.  (but very easy for Nokia to fix)

You're totally right. It's odd nobody makes widgets using this "new" (not so new if you take note of all the leaked versions) firmware.

Half the things we were promissed with nokia belle updates were missing.

and there are many new bugs which wernt there in Anna.

Hoping to get an update in near future.

I hope you solve your bugs issue but I must tell you I have no bugs at all in my recently updated N8; in fact, I'm very happy with the overall upgrade, just notice some things are still missing but think it's a matter of time for those to be solved. I've noticed, though, some "little issues" but all of them were gone with the use, and now my phone is just like brand new again, and I thank very much Nokia for that.

I meant that maybe there's no "Widgets page" because there are not enough widgets to publish on there, so my hope is for both things (widgets and site) to be improved as soon as possible.

BTW I've recently noticed in the video "Nokia Belle download begins today"

there's a BIG ANALOG CLOCK" showing in there, so I think Nokia must have forgotten to include at least that widget.

I think most of the widgets are third party, ie made and sold by others through nokia store.

If you click to add a widget to a homescreen there is an icon of a shopping bag on the bottom bar, click this and nokia store will open with a list of the available widgets, embarrasingly short, but still its the widgets

The Nokia store link to widgets is NEW  that only started last night 11th feb 2012

and yes very short    hopefully we can get developers interested in nokia again. 

I hope nokie will make a nice easy development kit for developers and comercial incentives.

How about nokia making a "port" kit so developers can port made widgets from Andriod. 

Still loving Belle right now !!!

Yes, you're so right, it's too short and everything is old; I mean Symbian^3 old. There's nothing using the Belle's potential.

Totally agree!!!

I hope the same thing. It's a truly cute UI they've made with Belle; I love my N8 and it is brand new again.

The idea of the port kit is great and there's a huge market in there, that's good for everyone, isn't it?

Actually you can't find it with the Store application; you get there through "Add Widget" in your phone. You can find the Store icon at the bottom, between the search and menu icons.

I think, though, there must be a differentiation between "applications with widgets" and "customization widgets". The last ones should be better listed as a submenu in "Personalization" menu at the Nokia Store.

Anyway, still waiting for somebody from Nokia to give us some info about this. Maybe next week when the update frenzy will be weakened.

Should the missing widgets appear after launching the new WP devices?

I don't know yet, but the silence drives to speculation in order to find some logic in the matter.
