I bought the C7-00 in May 2011 having the following 

I got a problem with and one it dead out.

So I went to nokia care and they gave me the new C7-00 in September 17th 2011 with the product code: 059B899

I have read your Email which is said the P.C: 059B899 = SWAP

This mean that I will go to nokia care to update Nokia Belle.

How about if there will a new feature or software update

Does it mean that every new feature I have to go to nokia care

I am expecting and wishing that my product code will be taken into consideration as a normal code not as SWAP code

i have same product code,

but ,i got belle update to my N8 by visiting Nokia Care Center.

My phone is under warrenty, so it is updated free of cost from Nokia Care.

Oh great I went to NCC and yes they have Belle upgrade in which I have no choice as my N8 is regarded as SWAP eventhough I never swap or sent back my N8 to Nokia before and because my warranty is due, they charge me just to upgrade to belle while the rest of the people enjoy downloading it from internet for free !!! Why not just enabled us to download belle regardless of our product code !! I dont want to pay when I can do things myself and it's not even my fault

I didnt upgrade myself because I felt its a broad day robbery. I'll wait 1 week max. If Nokia still have no response in letting me download and install myself consider my 10 years of loyalty towards Nokia ends here. I'll get a samsung or a xperia with android

- This means that to receive Belle and any subsequent updates it must be done through a Nokia Care point?

- With a swap code Nokia suite don't be able to know if there is any updates to Belle. With a swap phone how i do know if there is updates to Belle?

yes, unfortunately with SWAP product code you would need to have your update to Nokia Belle via Nokia Care point.

Many thanks for the information. I have one of those that are "under investigation" (N8 O2 UK P/C: 059C1B7)

This has been at status "waiting for approval" on the main availability website since Friday. Is it safe to assume that there has been an issue with the software, and that it needs a little more work before the carrier will approve it, or does it in fact mean that the carrier has approved it, but Nokia has found an issue with the software, and needs to rectify it before it goes 'Live' on the server?

If you could offer some clarification, it would be greatly appreciated.

the Availability page is correct but as mentioned in my latest post, I am checking for further information.

And as per our long-standing policy, we cannot comment on possible release dates. I hope you will find that Nokia Belle is worth the wait!

but 059K1D5 and D6 are "country variant France", bought naked at the official nokia retail price, without any links with an operator.

Considering that, why are they not eligible for Belle ?
