Nokia (in particular Nokia Australia) listen up. I have an N8 here in Australia and can see on the availability list that my product code 059D597 shows "Nokia Belle not available". To echo some posts here, this is just NOT good enough; this smacks of the N97 debacle of users just simply being ignored in the hope that we would go and buy a new Nokia phone - definately WILL NOT be doing that again.

Nokia, (in particular Nokia Australia), it's time to come clean and provide a detailed explanation of the reasons as to why Australia has been left out. To say that I myself (not to mention other Australian users) am throughly annoyed is an understatement. Nokia Belle has been advertised globally by Nokia that the N8-00 and other first gen Symbian^3 phones WILL get Nokia Belle; during the lead up time to this release, there was nowhere to be seen that Australia would not get Nokia Belle.

Right Nokia, now it's your turn to speak up please. And preferrably now, not next week.

hey. i hope someone can help me out here. when i search from my phone for an updated software it finds the update but tells me to use my computer. i connect my n8 on the pc, open the nokia suite and when i search for update it says No updates available.

So far since seeing the update post on facebook I have now had a chance to play around a little with the software and it's all working great. Does anyone have a fix for how to get my previous "chat messages" back? because since the update I have them all on my laptop but not on my phone.
