My Nokia N81 8GB has a software version 11.0.045. It is not 100% compatible with my Bluetooth Parrot I use to be hands free while driving. How can I get my firmware updated, so I may talk better. I have the data port to USB cable.
due to the age of the handset, it is pretty nigh impossible to get the phone updated at a Nokia Care factility, as the focus is now on Asha / Lumia range of Windows Phone handsets. you can try and ask though, there's no harm in doing that, but i think that you have been left behind if your handset is a branded one: http://nokia.com/support
(i am assuming that you have downloaded the latest version of Nokia Suite and it is telling you that there are no updates available).
