Even I want to update my Nokia 5630's firmware through NSU,but it says that NSU is currently unavailable........I don't know what the problem is......I think Nokia is doing some maintanence work.......

I upgraded my N86 8MP succesfully yesterday. Tried to upgrade my 5630 today, but got this error message. Seems to be some problem with the Nokia update service, not the Nokia Software Updater PC software. However, having checked using the "Can I upgrade"-service, no update is available for the 5630 yet. I'm having problems with the music player, so I hope there will be an update soon.

it has many problems and i badly want to resolve it soon..

but the software says, "Nokia Software Updater service is currently unavailable".

i'm fed up trying for 5 days...

I had the same problem but was because of wrong settings of date and time on the computer.

Maybe that will solve some other problems.

i have a branded (Vodafone UK) Nokia N97. I want to debrand it. i changed its
product code to my regional language. when i starts firmware updating every
thing goes normal and updating starts. when it reaches about 70.0mb out of
133.5mb connection from the nokia server drops and downloading process
starts from 0.0mb again. what is the problem ? can anyone help me ? i have repeated
this process about 4-5 times but the problem is same. plz help me

I have also gotten the "Connection Error" message on every "device updates" "Check for updates" since my last update on February 3, 2010. All other connections, (e.g. email. software updates, Skype, etc.) work fine. There appears to be something seriously wrong with "device updates".

Nokia is full of **bleep**, no good SW, not possible update N97 over 2 months the same message.

My current FW is 20.xxx

Anyway, never ever again buying Nokia phone, Meego can go in ANDROIDS backside.

Wasted money for **bleep** flagship phone, rubbish support, rubbish phone.

I currently have N97 (RM-507) running 21.2.045.

I have not been able to update to 22.2.110 as the updater on the device (SW Update) lists the update as available, but does nothing when I select it and choose "Start update". All other application updates through the same update app work just fine. (Just updated nokia messaging.)

I downloaded the Nokia Software Updater onto my XP box and I have the same issue as documented in this article: zhacks_(Nokia Software Updater service is currently unavailable)

This has been going on for months.  Is there going to be any fix? Or, do I just toss my Nokia?

OK, here's the solution: On Nokia website only version 2.6 can be downloaded. What we need is the latest NSU version 3 which can be found with google. Simply uninstall the old one and install the new one. Had the same problem, worked perfectly with me.

Trying to upgrade software from v10..... to latest version

After 22mb of 131mb download keeps crashing - internet connection is fine.

Tried recommendations of restarting, restoring factory settings (both sof and hard). Still having same problems.

I am assumming it is a nokia issue.

Any suggestions?

i purchase nokia x2 00 handset but some problem are in  the handset is No Battery Backup...

Battery low within 2 hours at time of using Internet (GPRS)....
