After installing 40.0.021, using Predictive typing in applications is handicapped, e.g. Web, Threadssms and Opera. When I type in word not recognized by the dictionary, I usually select to spell the word. I cannot enter anything after selecting that option. Now I have to deactivate prediction and enther the word.

Can anything be done to correct this? 

p.s. I can spell new words in predictive typing when using Fring.

I like most of the changes in the Web browser since the software update, thanks! However there are some functions that I miss...

1. Easy double tapping to zoom in to 200%. It's useful to see small pictures.

2. Closure of browser windows (tabs) is very labourious now, having to open the menu>windows>close window. It used to be easy, with a close window icon.

3. As I have mentioned in the above post, the ability to spell new words whilst typing with predictive text on.

Nokia's servers are probably crowded or maintained, therefore, be patient just a little bit.

when i first had my c6-00 i was so xcited abt it but now wen i see other phones i feel like a fool.....this phone sucks...i would like to point out few of its shortcomings-
* it hangs frequently..
* u cnt sum apps simultenously......lyk u cnt listen to music while u using ovi store (now nokia store)
* phones touch interface is nt that good....not lyke ny oder phone available nw in the market...
* the default media player wont support all formats....like avi etc..
* the phone also crashed sumtimes while i was surfin net..
*low battery life
* its boaring....we cnt play ny 3D game....its like playing dos game in 2012....the phone is just lyk some 5 years old nokia phone.....the phone sucks.....

I kno nokia wld giv the reason it wnt support s3 or anna......then why the hell nokia is continuing to manufacture models wid such an idiotic os......

Its lyk nokia is foolin us.....this negative attitude of nokia is the only reason for the decline in the sales of nokia.......none of the nokia os can get even closer to an ios or android.......nokia is no longer the world leader in mobile business......

u can hav threaded view by using an app called 'conversation' . Its available for free download in nokia beta labs,or other sites just google it.
It smoothly integrates with ur contacts tabs.

I think C6-00 sold only because of its touch+qwerty feature.. Apart from that there is nothing good abt this phone (esp the software). PLZ do care to release a major update to its software! PLZ!

Is there a beta version of symbian belle that is compatible with nokia c6-00 because most of the people around the globe who know about symbian os like to have at least the feel of belle os in c6. I m also one of them so I kindly request nokia to release a better os that has the feel of s^3 os............! At least a beta version would do cuz as far as i and others who know the problems that can be caused by belle os are concerned the original os need high processor speed but what if a beta os is created i'm sure it can becompatible with c6-00! Pls......... I hope nokia would understand this and at least by next month they could release a S^3 Beta os for C6-00!!!!!!
