Hello Friends

          I have curiously waiting for update for nokia c5.I had googled it and found that their is an update for nokia c5 62.001 to 71.005 firmware.But when i started nokia ovi suite it said that their is no update for it.So please tell me about this.

Updates vary by region and product code if your phone is branded by an operator you have to wait until the operator approves the update.

No my phone is not branded by an operator... have checked all the sites of nokia and nokia c5's latest firmware is 62.001 but in some sites you can see nokia c5 with 72.005 firmware

if you are in india i must tell you that i updated my phone today to 071.005 ( not 72.005 ) using the phone sw update option in settings. So this update is valid for india. Try using nokia software updater or phone's own sw update like of to update your phone. Update is great and has added nokia chat which you can see in applications

I've tried to update my soft version from 031.022 to a newer one 071.005 and it doesn't works...how's that?...on official nokia site it appears the version 071.005 available for the phone...but when i try to download it with nokia software update can't find it..

when i update 071.005 then there are now so many problems in my nokia C5, now my GPS in not working, and main problem is that, before update i always open youtube site by browser and watch vedio in flash player, but after i update , now flash player is not working, now youtube is now working in my C5, now my mobile is useless.

format your phone memory by typing *#7370# and then click ok to which says restore and give secuity code to give format....
