I was offered this update/service pack after a reformat of the phone (the download wasn't being offered previous to that so thought there may have been a problem) but after installing the fw version didn't change from ANNA ver 022.014, my question is has the sp install occurred or not? In any case I'm not offered the download again & the problems I had with Nokia store have disappeared which, according to the beta feedback page for this, the update would fix thus giving me the impression that it did update to ANNA sp1.
Thanks, I probably got confused while reading about both the sp & the anna 025 update in the same threads so I'd just assumed it was the same.
Have checked Nokia Europe site & it says 025.007 is the latest release but nothing has appeared for download. Perhaps if you have the original ANNA 1 & 2 plus the service pack then you'll not be offered this download which is probably a combination of all three downloads or it's just not available for the UK yet.
Elsewhere on these boards seem to suggest that if you have anna 1 & 2 + the service pack that the fw version does not change & that you only know you've downloaded the sp update successfully is by looking under application manager for a java runtime update plus updates to the conversation and messaging apps, or by looking in the installation logs (but that might only appear if you downloaded ota rather than use Ovi/Nokia suite. I hope someone will correct me if I'm incorrect).
