Think that is the price that has to be paid for their removal unfortunately.
Plenty of posts upon this issue with no solutions:

Here is what you have to do .
Start Nokia Suite and connect your phone (mine is e7) .Go to SUPPORT section (hint>the last section)
Click on Installed apps (at left bottom ,just above the picture of the phone that is connected).
Find tha app that you want to remove and look at at the version of the app.
Search for the installation file of the app of the exact same version in the web (it's crucial to be the exact same version of the app you want to remove).
Download the app and open it with Nokia Suite .You will be warned that the app is about to be installed on the phone>Click OK ...Then ,the installation continues on the phone .You will be warned that the app is about to be installed on the phone>Click OK (install).
You will be warned that the same app already exists and will ask you if you want to replace the already existing application with the new app< "ACCEPT THAT" .
Then it wants you to choose where to install the app( System<>Phone)Memory , Mass Memory ,Memory Card ,etc).
You can choose whatever you like except the System<>Phone Memory
When it installs:
go to Settings>Installations>Already installed>"Application you want to remove">Click and Hold on it>Remove
It just takes time to get to the bottom of it>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>LOVE FROM BULGARIA

Downloaded mguard as suggested, but it doesn't seem to recognise the sticky apps - CNN, Sky News On Demand, Movie Teasers, Nat Geo...
Damn Nokia for forcing us to deal with these apps, I can't believe no-one can manage to get rid of them! Anyone else have any luck? I also tried seaching the web for exact version numbers of the sticky apps but I can't find anything, and Nokia store is useless for that too it seems.
I just want some more space on C drive!! Why can't they include a setting to allow you to store web caching, messages and email on the E drive??

Thanks X01X01X, It work, you don't have to wait until finish installation. Just stop in the middle and then go to menu in phone, press and hold the icon that you want to delete, and you can succesfully remove it

I can't seem to find for instance "CNN Video" version 2.1.0 ?
How and where do you find the install files?
